Taste Advisor (Fashion & Algorithms)
Favora is building the future of personalised online fashion: one app for every brand, with an AI layer that learns each person's taste and turns new fashion into a personal daily feed. The algorithm behind it only gets as good as the taste that shapes it.
We're inviting a small group of people who really care about fashion, style and how the internet learns what people love, to help shape our product intelligence. This is a supporting role, not a job. It's unpaid, own pace, remote or in Stockholm. What it gives back is early access, real influence on how our algorithm sees taste, a direct line to the founders and first spot in line if this turns into a paid role or internship later.
What you'd do
- Use Favora and share how the daily picks feel, honestly. What it got right, what it got wrong, what a real stylist would have picked instead.
- Sit with us (in person or on a call) every few weeks to look at outputs together, flag misses and shape how the algorithm learns taste.
- Share your point of view on taste, aesthetics, brands and shopping culture, in the language most useful to the people building it.
- Optionally, help review evaluation sets when we ship changes to the recommender, so the product keeps getting closer to how humans actually pick clothes.
Who we imagine
Stylists, fashion students, content creators, retail people, or anyone who lives and breathes fashion. No CV, degree or title required. What matters is having a real point of view on taste and wanting to help shape how a product learns it.
You don't need to be in Stockholm. If your instagram, tiktok, closet or moodboards say more about you than your résumé does, this is meant for you.

The honest terms
This is unpaid. It's a supporting role, not a job, and you set your own pace. No hours minimum, no output quota. If you can spare an hour every couple of weeks that's already useful, and if it turns into something more, we'll open the conversation about what that looks like.
We want to be honest about what this is and what it isn't. In return, we promise to treat your time and input seriously, and to keep you close to how the product actually evolves.

Hi, im alex, i think it is important to note here that this is an unpaid role. we want it to feel low-pressure to apply. no cover letters, no cvs, just a few lines about you. why unpaid?, we cannot afford to have someone full or part time to help us with this, and we wonder if there are talented people with taste out there that would be willing to help us figure out what looks good and help shape our algorithms. we think fashion online deserves to be personalised and while AI trained by the big labs are good, we think that with the right help we can have the best fashion recommender system. with that said, we think you will have a lot of fun in this role if you like tech and would like to learn more about how to work with AI and how a tech company operates.
Also, with this said, try to just be genuine in this application, we try to keep these things human and avoid ai. so try to just write in your own words like I do here, I think that is the best we can offer each other. with that said, i pledge to answer within a day or two. hope this role sounds fun.
